Works great, built with quality in mind. Ever leave home without it.
Welded a larger foot plate for more stability. Use in my Shop, Truck, and Rv.
Works great! Well built.
If you must have the more popular trail jack name, then go ahead and spend the extra money. I'm glad I didn't.
Looks good an works like the HI-Lift jacks. the handle keeper is cheaper quality than theirs but it is included.
Should be and first purchase after u add a left to any truck or suv.
no problem lifting up my jeep on the trail, light weight to store on the hood. Just a great buy overall!!
The Smitty-Bilt (China) 54 inch 'Hi-Lift' styled off road - trail jack is a good "back-up" to my real US made Hi Lift Jack. The Smitty-Bilt jack's fit and finish was very good, the castings were good. With the addition of a 3/8ths stainless quick link and a 3/8ths shackle the Smitty-Bilt jack can serve more functions for pull as well as lift. It is about 5 inches shorter than the hi-lift, but costs 40% less. The 2 piece handle with rubber travel holder was a pleasant surprise. A solid 4 Stars of 5 possible Stars. The last star is deserved when the jack lifts its rated capacity.
bought one for me and one for a friend
Keep It protected from rust. Use it before you need it. Look to see what other accessory you should buy to have with you.

Does this jack come with the rubber handle isolator as shown in pictures? Joe
Asked by joe from on
Joe, the Smittybilt 54" Trail Jack does not come with any accessories shown. If you would like to purchase the isolator separately, you can find them here: http://www.4wd.com/eSearch.aspx?Ntk=primary&Ntt=jack+isolator. I hope this helps!

if i wanted to jack out metal fence post , do you think this would work ?
Asked by omgisme86 from colorado on
Hello, The Smittybilt 54" Trail Jack has a lot of uses other than lifting vehicles. Many of us here have used it to pull post and the sort out of the ground. Just keep in mind to wear the proper safety attire and make sure the jack does not lean under load. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
